CBTF provides support to every member of the family throughout the brain tumor journey. We rely on donations and support from our community to keep us strong. If you have ever wondered what you can do to help CBTF, this is your chance to give back!

The Summer Fun-Raiser will run from June 15-August 15, that gives you 60 days to reach your goal. Every CBTF Fun-Raiser will receive a Bingo Card filled with fun challenges to activate your mind and body, spread kindness and raise funds for CBTF.

Register today and we will send you an email with information on how to set up your fundraising page. You will also receive a Summer Fun-Raising Tool Kit in the mail with your Bingo Card and challenge bags to keep you motivated to reach your goal!

For those choosing to post their challenges (see below) on social media, the video with the most likes at the end of the challenge will receive a pair of  Apple AirPods!

Donation Page & Link

• After you sign up, you will receive an email with instructions on how to set up your fundraising page
• You can personalize your page, share why you are raising money for CBTF and set your fundraising goal
• This will create a link for you to share with friends and family
• Donations go directly to your Fun-Raiser and donors immediately receive a thank you and tax receipt
• Once you create your page, we will email you a Summer Fun-Raiser graphic with a QR code going directly to your fundraising page for you to share on your phone or print

 Summer Fun-Raising Toolkit Contents

• Bingo Card
• Informational postcards with brain tumor facts and information about CBTF
• Challenge ‘Bags’ will be filled with items to help you meet the special challenges throughout the fundraiser

 Bingo Card

• Complete all of the squares and raise a minimum of $100 by August 15th and win a mystery prize
• We know that everyone has access to different things so alter the activities on your Bingo Card when you need to. For example, you can hold a car wash or bake sale instead of a lemonade stand or draw a picture instead of writing a poem or a story. Be creative and get your family to help you complete your card
• When you complete an activity, mark your card, when you complete it send a picture to Steven at shazlett@cbtf.org

 Special Challenges

• There are four special challenges listed on your Bingo card!
• June 21st: Flip Flop Music Challenge: Create a video where you use your flip flops to jam to a favorite tune (extra credit if your song choice comes from outside of the US)
• July 4th: Red White and Blue Challenge: Create a video where you sport your best Red, White and Blue outfit and jam to your favorite version of the Star Spangled Banner (there are a lot of people who have covered the national anthem including Jimi Hendrix, Whitney Houston and Beyonce!)
• July 21st: Ice Cream Challenge: Create a video of you eating an ice cream with no hands to a favorite song
• August 4th: Water Balloon Attack Challenge: Create a video where you and a parent, sibling or friend play rock paper scissors to decide who gets ‘attacked’ with the water balloons…good luck!
• You will receive an item to help you meet each challenge in your tool kit
• Videos should be no more than 90 seconds in length and vertical
• Pro tip: The most successful videos (those with the most likes) follow the beat of a song
• Once you create your video of you meeting the challenge, post it on social media (or have a parent post it, don’t forget to tag CBTF and include your donation link).  If you are not using social media, send your video to Steven at shazlett@cbtf.org so you can mark off your square

 Fundraising on Social Media

• Social Media is a great way to engage new donors and meet your fundraising goal
• You can choose to fundraise with or without social media. If you choose to, you must be 13+ or have your parents post the information on their social media site
• When posting on social media, whether it is your challenge videos or about your other fundraising efforts, always, include information about why you are raising funds for CBTF and your fundraising link so people can donate to your page
• Always tag CBTF so that we can follow you and share
• If you are fundraising on social media, the person with the challenge video with the most likes will win a pair of Apple AirPods!

• The Fun-Raiser runs from June 15-August 15 (prizes will be awarded based on donations received by 5PM Eastern on August 17, 2024)
• Anyone donating to your online fundraising page will automatically receive a thank you & receipt.
• Make checks payable to CBTF. Note your name in the memo. Please provide CBTF with the donor’s contact information (if it is not on the check) and we will send a thank you & receipt.
• Cash donations can be converted to a check. If a donor wants a tax receipt, please provide CBTF with the donor’s contact information and we will send a thank you & receipt.
• Send in a photo of your completed Bingo Card to receive a special mystery prize to shazlett@cbtf.org.
