CBTF Endurance Team
Every year, a select team of dedicated runners from across the country race in the Bank of America Chicago Marathon and the TCS New York City Marathon in support of the Children’s Brain Tumor Foundation. These runners exemplify what it means to be a supporter, promoter and friend of the CBTF community by taking on the challenge of running a marathon and raising vital funds in support of our families and programs.
Thanks to our 2023 Endurance Team runners and supporters, we raised over $150,000 that will directly benefit CBTF’s family programming and fund research for a cure.
Why Run for CBTF?

of life programs for families with children affected by brain and spinal cord tumors. - CBTF is a founding partner of the Children’s Brain Tumor Network. A collaborative, multi-institutional research program dedicated to the study and treatment of childhood brain tumors.

Who are Our Runners?
Team CBTF members are parents, survivors, friends, family, professionals, and supporters of the brain tumor community. They have chosen to run for a cause greater than themselves by choosing to run with Team CBTF.
Who are Our Inspirers?
One thing that makes Team CBTF unique is our team of survivor Inspirers. They might not be runners, but they provide team members with motivation to keep running through the most difficult parts of training by sharing their stories and cheering them on when they need it most!
