On November 19th, CBTF held the first “Together We Can Make A Difference” conference sponsored by Nanobeak. The conference, for non-profits, had a wide variety of presenters providing quality of life updates, including Krista Nelson of Providence Health and Services, Dr. Tara Brinkman of St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, Dr. David Strauser of University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, Danielle Leach of Alliance for Childhood Cancer, Jessica Elder of CBTF, and Stacia Wagner, CBTF President.

CBTF is dedicated to finding a cure and assuring families do not go through the brain tumor journey alone and developing programs to improve life after a brain or spinal cord tumor. We want to thank all of the people and organizations that are dedicated to cure and care. Thank you to Lisbeth Arecurenaga of Cancer Support Community Arizona – cscaz.org, Shawnee Doherty of Hope Through Hollis, Tatum Fettig of Sweet Tea Cancer Connection, Jennifer Fleming of Make-A-Wish Arizona, Robin French and Joan Slaughter of The Morgan Adams Foundation, Rick Zambrano of Mimi Foundation, Wendy and Martin Kaye, Ed and Elissa Cassavant of Team Bradley Bear Foundation, Beth Jones of Camp Mak-A-Dream, Dr. David Adelson of Phoenix Children’s Hospital, Lionel Leventhal, CBTF Board Chair, and Regina Karchner and Stephanie Freeman of CBTF.
