CBTF FAMILY WALK FOR THE CURE

Discover hope at an annual CBTF Family Walk for the Cure! We’re coming together in New York, New Jersey and Ohio in the fight against pediatric brain tumors—a celebration of the superheroes in our community and the superpowers that carry us forward. Together, we’ll not only raise awareness but also provide vital support to families facing these challenges.

Join us for a 2026 CBTF Family Walk for the Cure. These events bring together families and supporters in a shared mission to advance research, provide meaningful support, and work toward a cure for pediatric brain tumors. Whether you are walking in honor of someone you love, standing with families affected by these diagnoses, or simply showing up for an important cause, your presence matters. Each step we take together represents progress, hope, and a commitment to improving the lives of children facing brain tumors.

Our Story

CBTF was founded in 1988 by a group of dedicated parents, physicians, and friends to improve the treatment, quality of life, and the long term outlook for children with brain and spinal cord tumors through research support, education, and advocacy to families and survivors. In addition to providing funds to research a cure, the organization is the nation’s leader in quality of life programs for families impacted by brain and spinal cord tumors. We support families from the day of diagnosis and throughout the brain tumor journey.

Why We Walk

We walk for the 4,600 children who are diagnosed with a life altering brain tumor each year.  All of the funds raised will support CBTF programming that has helped thousands of survivors and families in deeply impactful ways through wellness programs, scholarships, support groups and more. You can make a direct impact today by joining us. You’ll be met with a community of love and a promise of hope. Our impact would not be possible without you!

Why You Should Join Us

Become part of a compassionate community where no one walks alone. This annual event unites families, friends, and supporters to raise awareness and funds to fight against brain tumors. Every step taken during the walk represents hope, strength, and solidarity with those affected by this challenging disease. Together, we create a powerful network of support, providing comfort and encouragement to patients, survivors, and their loved ones.
