Pioneering Hope + Support for Families Since 1988
There are 4600 children diagnosed with a brain tumor each year. One-third of these children will not survive for five years. Children’s Brain Tumor Foundation (CBTF) was founded 37 years ago to find a cure for this dreadful disease. Today, we are the nation’s leader in programs for the entire family. Our goal is to make sure no family goes through the brain tumor journey alone and has the tools they need during and long after treatment.

Our Story
CBTF was founded in 1988 by a group of dedicated parents, physicians, and friends to improve the treatment, quality of life, and the long term outlook for children with brain and spinal cord tumors through research support, education, and advocacy to families and survivors. In addition to providing funds to research a cure, the organization is the nation’s leader in quality of life programs for families impacted by brain and spinal cord tumors. We support families from the day of diagnosis and throughout the brain tumor journey.

Why We Walk
We walk for the 4,600 children who are diagnosed with a life altering brain tumor each year. All of the funds raised will support CBTF programming that has helped thousands of survivors and families in deeply impactful ways through wellness programs, scholarships, support groups and more. You can make a direct impact today by joining us. You’ll be met with a community of love and a promise of hope. Our impact would not be possible without you!

Why You Should Join Us
Become part of a compassionate community where no one walks alone. This annual event unites families, friends, and supporters to raise awareness and funds to fight against brain tumors. Every step taken during the walk represents hope, strength, and solidarity with those affected by this challenging disease. Together, we create a powerful network of support, providing comfort and encouragement to patients, survivors, and their loved ones.
