Wellness is multidimensional, and most models include at least 6-components that can consist of physical, mental, spiritual, social, emotional, and environmental components (Global Wellness Institute).
At the Children’s Brain Tumor Foundation, we know addressing these can seem near impossible while in the midst of diagnosis, treatment, and life after treatment. Yet integrating them into our lives can help us feel more balanced and in control.
It can be challenging to know where to start, so we’d like to offer some tips for keeping your overall health and well-being in check while navigating life with and after a brain tumor. Many of these tips are provided by those who know the experience first-hand – families and survivors! We also are privileged to collaborate with many professionals who lend their time and expertise to the Children’s Brain Tumor Foundation and the resources we provide to the community.
