SUMMARY:Read to a Dog
DESCRIPTION:Does your child love to read or is your child challenged or shy about reading? Are you and your child looking for a fun new way to spend some time after so many months at home? CBTF has launched a new program for elementary and middle school age kids. The program pairs your child via ZOOM with a friendly dog and its person so your child can read aloud to the dog. Dogs are a non judgmental\, low stress\, listening audience. The dog’s person is there to encourage and engage your child in reading aloud. Each session is 30 minutes and your child will read to two different dogs during that time.
