DESCRIPTION:This month’s workshop will feature a project using acrylic painting\, led by our guest artist\, Sierra Barnes. \nSierra Barnes was diagnosed with a craniopharyngioma brain tumor at the age of five and has found art to be instrumental in her healing. \n“She has exhibited her art in group exhibitions\, including a solo exhibition in her artistic career. She has received several awards and has been praised for the optimistic tone and timelessness of her canvases\, and she is currently represented by Agora Art Gallery in New York City.” \nAnyone who registers by Wednesday\, August 11th will receive a free art kit in the mail.
